Some Terrible Men Are Ruining Our World

Some terrible men are ruining our world. Terrible, terrible men who mutilate the bodies of women and blow up people who live in far away cities on the pretext that they have a right to strike back. Strike back? The terrible men are always striking something. They don’t care who gets hurt as long as it isn’t them. Terrible men are in the news every day pillaging villages, sending their armies of cruel and loutish soldiers into countries that aren’t their own. These terrible men think they have a right to what they want and they are proud of not listening when others urge caution and tell them to stop. These terrible, terrible men patrol our dreams–they silence our hopes. They are everywhere bringing carnage and death and yet the world goes on, carrying them forward to their destinies and our fates, leaving all of us in bitterness and hate.

Who will make them stop? Will it be their mothers and fathers? Will it be their sisters and brothers, their sons, their wives and their daughters? What can we do to get them to hand over their murderous rage so they become un-terrible people capable of the courage to say I was wrong?
